The cacophony of news reports about the announcement by DNI Director Tulsi Gabbard is producing so much noise that, depending on the sources one hears, sees on television, or reads simply produces a tsunami of mis/disinformation about what to think or understand.
In following the Dan Bongino rule regarding consumption of news in today’s 24 hour news cycle, I’ve deliberately held back and let the dust settle for a bit to take some time to discern the facts about what the nation’s gone through over the past ten years regarding President Trump. Sure, the public and its perception is affected depending on a combination of personal bias, sources, and whether the information they consume if factual and accurate.
Take, for instance, a few other examples like the Epstein list, former Pres. Biden’s cognitive decline, or the implementation by Pres. Trump imposing tariffs on foreign countries. It’s human nature to view things differently for many reasons. In fact, some media outlets don’t even cover certain stories, so they may never be exposed to it, and therefore totally unaware it exists. Depending on the consumer’s skill level in being able to sort through articles for indisputable facts, rather than rumor or hearsay affecting their perception of what’s true or not, combined with the news media’s greater motive of conducting polls to support their headlines for generating revenue, a sea of ignorance and divisive disunity prevails.
Now, six months into Pres. Trump’s second term, many of the previously supposed facts, which those who’ve been patiently watching, are now being validated as they expected they eventually would. You know, those crazy conspiracy theories? In today’s post I’m going to cite a few source which are addressing the more critical issues currently coming to light, but suspected all along for those who understand the need to exercise patience. Of course, the biggest issue dominating the news is that Pres. Obama has been instrumental in potentially treasonous acts.
For those who’ve not already seen the video of Maria Bartiromo’s show, Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, I’ll share it here for the reader’s convenience. This sets the stage for the other two sources related to it I shall provide for the reader to consider in gaining a broader perspective of facts and thought about it. My hope is that those who may not have considered their points may come away with a different understanding about it from a more rounded exposure.
Here’s two paragraphs from an article by Matt Taibbi at Racket News about this disclosure:
As has been rumored all week, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard began releasing documents this afternoon related to intelligence community shenanigans committed in the waning days of Barack Obama’s presidency, before and after the 2016 presidential election. It’s damning stuff that exposes the Trump-Russia hysteria as a complete and utter fake, and should obliterate the reputation of the commercial news media. There is no answer to these documents.
The material is bolstered throughout by explanations of a whistleblower from then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper’s office. Just this handful of documents holds explosive implications, implicating a much bigger pool of White House officials than previously understood, including Obama himself, in what appears to be a top-down effort to create a false narrative about Russia meddling to help Donald Trump. If there’s an analog in American history, I can’t think of it.
Another source, this one from Sam Faddis, retired CIA operative stationed in the middle-east for years, explains at AND Magazine, how he, from first-hand experience within the organization, sees the situation today:
Here is the bottom line. Americans do not think that senior Agency officers, serving and retired, intervened in American domestic politics. They do not suspect that these individuals put their “thumb on the scale” as Mr. Kelton suggests. They know that these individuals knocked those scales over and rigged the game.
Consider one piece of what we now know transpired in 2016. Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer, was hired by a research firm, Fusion GPS, to prepare a dossier smearing then-candidate for President Donald Trump with false accusations of collusion with Vladimir Putin. Fusion GPS was working for the law firm representing candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The money to pay Steele and Fusion GPS, as well as the lawyers involved, was coming from Hillary’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
You don’t have to be a steely-eyed clandestine operative to figure out what that means. Steele had been hired to write a hit piece to slander Donald Trump and influence the results of an American Presidential election.
What Steele produced was trash. If a walk-in to an American embassy abroad had handed over something like what Steele produced, it would have immediately been viewed as garbage and largely ignored. It might have been sent back to Headquarters for the general amusement of the desk officers, but nobody would have paid any attention to its salacious, poorly sourced accusations. It was RUMINT at its worst.
Senior CIA officers at the time were aware of all this. They knew the dossier was junk. They knew it was a political hatchet job. They should have refused to give it any credence and stood well clear of the internal political warfare it represented.
Senior CIA officers did not stand clear. To the contrary, as we now know, the very top levels of the organization, including Director Brennan himself, intervened, overrode the normal analytical process, and mandated that the dossier would be used as the basis of an assessment tying Donald Trump to Moscow and suggesting strongly that he was the chosen candidate of Vladimir Putin. Perhaps, most shockingly, virtually no one spoke up against this action or any of the other almost endless such moves that followed, all designed to influence the outcome of a Presidential election and decide for the American people who would rule.
The CIA should not be within ten miles of American domestic politics. CIA officers should never shade their analysis or run their operations based on political considerations. They serve the American people. They swear an oath to the Constitution.
The men who participated in the effort to keep Donald Trump out of the White House and then to depose him broke that oath. They turned their backs on the American people. They also betrayed all of those brave, patriotic CIA officers who honorably serve all over the world every day and continue to believe in their mission and the ideals of the nation they serve.
The CIA does not have a perception problem. It has a reality problem, and only by admitting what happened in 2016 can we begin to correct that problem, restore a critical national security agency to greatness, and guarantee this never happens again.
Then, there’s this video clip of Victor Davis Hanson explaining in a podcast how the bigger issue for our country, in light of all these machinations between our two parties ideological differences, has a hand in producing the public’s confusion for many who have awakened from their mistaken perception of what we’ve been going through for these past ten years and how it is affecting the results it has generated for our nation’s well-being. It’s well worth the few minutes taken to watch and listen carefully about what Victor explains.

Here's how Clandestine, another Substack poster, put the matter:
Things are heating up. 👀
AG Bondi just declassified OIG report to Congress via Grassley, showing that Comey and the Obama FBI intentionally ignored thumb drives during Hillary email investigation, because they had emails on them from OBAMA…
Meaning the Russiagate hoax against Trump was not a one-off thing. This was a grand conspiracy, and the Obama intelligence community had their thumb on the scales of justice, all in an effort to cover up for, not just Hillary, but OBAMA!
Meaning Obama’s DOJ/FBI/CIA intentionally ignored evidence about Hillary and Obama. Meanwhile, they concocted fake intelligence in order to frame Trump and overturn the 2016 election.
Meaning Obama and his cabal WITTINGLY interfered in the 2016 election, and tried to ensure Hillary would win. Meaning they never had any intention of the American People deciding who would be President. Meaning that the Dems do not actually care about ‘democracy’, and they are engaged in a treasonous conspiracy to subvert the will of the People.
Both sides of the political aisle will be sitting on the edge of their seats. One side will view it as enforcing the law of the land - “No one, is above the law.” - and exercising legal justice, while the other side will be screaming all the usual explictatives and demeaning labels about unfairness. Sorry, you made the choice in order to keep your position of control and power. That’s a political coup!
